Returns Policy

FitEBC.com guarantees to accept the return of un-installed products in un-damaged original packaging within 30 days from the date of dispatch, for any reason including change of mind, subject to the following conditions:

If an error has occurred and FitEBC.com is responsible for the error, e.g. we listed incorrect parts for the vehicle or a picking error has occurred, we will reimburse the customer for 100% of outbound courier costs paid (if any) and pay 100% of the return freight courier costs. Full details of this policy can be found within our 100% Fitment Guarantee. The customer will then be given the option to exchange for the correct parts or receive a full refund (refunds will be processed according to the conditions set out in this returns policy).

If no error has occurred and the customer has simply changed their mind, all outbound and return freight costs must be paid by the customer. If the customer wishes to exchange for a different product, all freight costs will be deducted from the store credit given. If the customer wishes to receive a refund, all freight costs will be deducted from any amount refunded.

If there is a problem but FitEBC.com is not deemed to be at fault, e.g. the customer ordered a part to ‘see if it will fit’ without first speaking to and seeking assistance from FitEBC, all outbound and return freight costs must be paid by the customer. All freight costs will be deducted from the store credit given, or any amount refunded.

If the product(s) exhibit signs of attempted installation, or the packaging is damaged, or the product is not returned in its original packaging, a 15% re-boxing fee will be charged. Do not attach the shipping label to the original product packaging, doing so will incur a 15% re-boxing fee.

If the product(s) or packaging are significantly damaged such that they are no longer deemed saleable when they reach us, a replacement or refund will be rejected and the goods will be returned to the customer. We kindly ask customers to carefully package goods when returning them to FitEBC, since any damage occurring during return transit due to poor packaging is the sole responsibility of the customer.

No exchanges, refunds or returns shall be processed after 31 or more days following the date of dispatch of the order.

Damage by Courier

In the event of loss or damage caused by the courier, please take photos and contact us within 5 days of delivery such that we may resolve things with the courier effectively. Be sure to include your order number in all correspondence. No shipping damage or loss claims shall be processed after 5 days of the goods being delivered.

Refunds

Refunds of payments processed through PayPal, Klarna, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or any other payment method where the payment gateway fee is not refunded to FitEBC.com will have the payment gateway fees deducted from any amount refunded, unless FitEBC is deemed to be at fault in which case we will cover these fees.

Please note, to the fullest extent permitted by law, FitEBC will not reimburse any other miscellaneous costs, such as labour charges (i.e. failed installation costs) or damages/losses claimed by the customer as a result of any error.

Freight charges and 15% re-boxing fees may also be deducted from any amount refunded, as outlined in this policy.

Please allow up to 14 working days for the refunded amount to reach your bank account.

Warranty Returns

Although EBC develops and tests many of its products to conditions and duty levels commonplace in motorsport (especially those brake pads carrying the ‘track suitable’ green tick), due to the huge variety of vehicles used and considerable variation across different motorsport disciplines, FitEBC.com offers no warranty or performance guarantees for EBC products used in any kind of motorsport.

EBC Brakes offers a suitable product for all levels of motorsport, from club racing to rallying, to GT3 endurance race cars, and everything else in between. Alas, if you are dissatisfied with the performance you have experienced, please contact FitEBC.com directly and explain the issue since we are 100% committed to assisting you in reaching a satisfactory outcome. Frequently we find the customer has simply been recommended the wrong product for their application, in which case FitEBC.com will do its utmost to remedy the situation.

We politely remind our customers that badmouthing EBC Brakes or FitEBC.com online, without first speaking with us about an issue you are having and giving us the opportunity to put things right, does precisely nothing to help the situation. We at FitEBC.com are a friendly bunch of fellow petrolheads and we have a considerable amount of experience dealing in EBC products. Customer satisfaction is our utmost priority, and we will take all reasonable steps to help you and ensure you, as a valued customer of FitEBC, go away happy. If you encounter an issue of any sort, contacting FitEBC should be your first step. We are here to help!

In instances where EBC Brakes agrees to warrant an issue or a defective product under their manufacturer warranty, FitEBC.com will uphold and extend this warranty to our customers.

For all warranty claims the customer is responsible for returning the goods back to us at their expense. Any refund or replacement amount will be for the original purchase value of the goods only, excluding all labour and any other ancillary costs.

For all warranty claims, you must contact us to prearrange a return before sending the product back to us. Unauthorised product returns shall not be processed and shall be returned to the customer at their expense.

Once the goods have been returned to us, it can take up to 1 week to inspect the goods. If you require replacement parts urgently, a new transaction must be created for the new goods. A refund to the original payment card, or store credit, shall only be made after FitEBC.com has inspected the returned goods and deemed them to be at fault.

Brake Noise

If you are experiencing brake noise your first action is always to contact FitEBC.com directly. Brake noise can be caused by numerous factors, including ambient weather and operating conditions, vehicle faults, and faults with the brakes themselves. A member of our technical team will assist you in identifying and rectifying the cause of the brake noise, this may include, without limitation, requiring you to have your brake rotors skimmed using an on-car brake lathe or requiring you to install some anti-noise shims to your brake pads (which may be supplied by FitEBC.com free of charge).

If and only if all potential remedies have been exhausted to no avail will FitEBC.com consider a replacement or refund, at its sole discretion.

FitEBC’s ‘Return Policy’ does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
